This little number is in answer to a request from a fellow Deviantart member. The lady on the far right is a character named Rhonda Roykirk that I tried to sell years ago without success. This is the first boxing motif I've ever had to do. I hope it pans out to the rest of Deviantart. (Medium: pen and ink, watercolors, colored pens).Related content

Now that IS a challenge! Okay, you're on. It may take a couple of days, so please be patient. However, this boxing request, like the one I did when I made "Lethal Ladies of Boxing" as a request will be a one time only. I'm an old school fan of boxing. I like to see two guys duking it out in the ring. When I was in the Army, we used to have amateur boxing matches, "smokers" we called them. I was a second, a corner-man in many bouts and I've seen many fighters get seriously injured. Broken noses, cauliflower ears, knocked out teeth, smashed in cheekbones, cut eyebrows, not to mention messed up hands are not the kinds of things a woman should subject herself to, no matter how good she is with her fists. Call me old fashion, but that's my opinion. I hope you can appreciate that. Stay well and have a nice life.

You flatter me so. It wasn't really that hard. I started the sketch right after I saw your request. The inking and coloring were done the day after. I would have finished sooner, but I was sick with a sore throat yesterday. Again, glad your like it. And, if I may refer to a line from the film The Godfather, "someday, and that day may never come, I will ask you to do me a service in return." Enjoy.
