Lilytail has been well known for her over all optimistic way of carrying herself throughout a number of situations and every day tasks. She prefers to shed light to dark turns of events and will do everything in her power to make sure that hope remains in her thoughts and words. To her, there can never be just bad without the good, there is always an opportunity to turn something around, just around the corner. Lilytail is able to maintain a calm sense of level-headedness during some of the most stressful issues she comes across. This along with her optimistic nature comes in handy with dealing with irrational cats or high tension moments. She feels the need to invest her time in those around her to make sure others are ok before herself.

Her scornfulness makes it's full appearance when cats are caught breaking rules or being mouthy in general. Lilytail was raised to be rather proper and prim, taking mostly after her father's mentality and posture. Amberpool and Silverheart were childhood sweethearts, having been together for most of their lives, despite having rather opposite personalities. In their early 30 Moons, they decided they wanted to start a family together! Amberpool possessed a rather lazy and timid personality and had no problem with remaining in the nursery and even moved in the moment the medicine cat told her she was carrying kits. Silverheart was a respectable and dutiful warrior with a bit of an abrasive personality towards cats other than his loving mate. He would often bring her the largest and freshest pieces of prey from the pile, despite others gripping of fairness in the act. He would claim that Queens and Elders needed to be fed first anyways, so special treatment wasn't in question. During the time of kitting, no cat was more fretful and worried than Amberpool's parents, who visit frequently to make sure everything was ok and no complications were occurring with their only daughter. Silverheart would softly reassure them with a stoic expression, though inside, he was also worried. This was their very first litter together and he prayed to StarClan that everything would carry through alright. After some time later, two bundles of joy were delivered in the nursery, which earned a rare and sweet reaction from Silverheart. The two kits were to be named Lilykit and Rosekit. Silverheart especially took a liking to Lilykit's likeness to him but never let his favoritism show through when parenting both of the kits. As the kits aged, their personalities began to show signs of sprouting through. Rosekit was a lot like her mother, though showed off more of a messy/careless trait. She didn't mind getting her pelt dirty or tussling around with the other kits, while her sister Lilykit stuck close to her father who would tell her that she shouldn't look up to her sister and the way that she acted. Being more docile at the time, Lilykit couldn't help but agree to having a level of unease to her sister's behavior.

[ apprenticeship ] :

The day finally came for them to be made apprentices! Lilypaw and Rosepaw became a bit closer during this time than they had in their kithood stages. Lilypaw was given Emberfang as a mentor, a tall russet tabby she-cat who their leader at the time thought showed the same attitude as Lilypaw. Emberfang's training techniques relied heavily on her apprentice's ability to remain focused and determined, and thanks to Silverheart's constant encouragement, Lilypaw was able to fully take advantage of what she was being taught, though surely it would take some time for her to get the hang of things. The young apprentice quickly learned where her strengths and weaknesses were when it came to hunting. Her long legs haven't fully developed yet during this time, so she was a bit unbalanced and clumsy towards the start. For the time being, battle training was where she was able to shine and show her skills in. At around 8-9 moons old, Lilypaw had begun to grow taller and show off more of the structured traits she gained from her father. Her tail had grown longer, like her mother's and aided in her balance issues she would express in hunting. She would find ease in standing on smaller or more distant stone before lunging onto prey. During gatherings, she would sit near her sister, who would complain about how her mentor always complained about her sleeping in or how she was never fully focused on tasks at hand. Lilypaw would smile sympathetically and gently suggest that maybe she should show more interest in her training and maybe things would get better! To this, her sister would scowl at her and say she sounds exactly like her mentor and storm off. Lilypaw became anxious and confused as to why her sister reacted in such a way and figured she would ask her mother about it later, since Rosepaw was closer to her anyways.

[ warriorhood ] :

Having passed her assessment, Lilypaw received the upmost praise and appreciation from her father. During this time, he and Amberpool had ceased being mates, feeling as if they drifted apart when their kits were born. they had decided to wait until the end of their kits apprenticeships before officially splitting. Though they remain close friends with one another, each interaction is met with slight awkward tensions. Lilypaw was granted the name of Lilytail, for her skills of balance and level-headed behavior. Rosepaw was named Roseclaw, for her abrasive and battle-ready attitude. She had been fairly close to having her ceremony delayed if it weren't for Lilypaw's sincere apologies for her sibling's behavior. Lilytail found herself spending most of her time going on hunting patrols with her father and making friendships. During the ages of 17-20 moons, oodlesnoodles Lilytail had even begun to start dating, still struggling to figure out what exactly her attractions were towards. After dating a sweet, yet cocky tom named Sparrowflight, she learned that she wasn't at all interested in toms in a romantic sense. Which was perfectly fine to her, since it caused her more heartache and stress to be unsure the whole time. Letting him down wasn't the hardest task for her to do, though all the same it was, since she knew how sensitive he was. Luckily for her, he understood that it was nothing about him that turned her off to him, and it was merely a preference. They remained pretty close friends after this and still talk every now and then to this day.
