Well, I can't answer all of your questions, and my answers are just personal opinions or speculations, but it might help you.
I think he originally lived in America. He couldn't become the actor he wanted to be there, and he stepped on the wrong path somewhere in his life. I think he had several fights before his friend's (Rick if I remember correctly) death too. He probably wanted to start over from the bottom, that's why he changed his name to Tsuruga Ren. And also, they wouldn't find out his relation to Kuu Hizuri if he changed his name. I don't really know what happend to him when he was a child (maybe someone kidnapped him, or something I really don't know), but he always said that "he grew up in the adults world", so I'm sure it wasn't easy for him.
And the reason he doesn't want to see his parents, is probably because he thinks he still can't face them properly or because he is still not satisfied with himself in some way. When the right time comes when he will be satisfied with himself, I think he will go and see them, and apologise to them face to face. But if you read chapter 113 and 114 I think you will understand why he doesn't want to see them yet.
But I recommend reading the whole manga if you still don't read it.

.. I read the manga since the begining.....  and you right.... its so sad because I can see that his parents love him so much in special his dad...... he loves really to kuon/ren but... my question is how a kid of 10th years can suffer so much more than kyoko... an inimaginable suffering (reino said that to kyoko for the blue rock) that his suffer and pain is not comparing to kyoko at all ..... and he only was ten... for that reason I can´t imagine whatkind of suffering so extreme can have a 10 year old boy.... well the kidnapping is an option.... but his really trauma its for rick.. because tina called him murder... but is not true... in the memory the rick´s dead was an accident actually..... is not ren´s fault.. but of course for the pain and confussion she called him murder because she needs to blame somebody... and ren had a many fights in that time.. rick was a canalizer or a guide for ren.... she was referring rather to meet rick died for ren, not because he actually killed him.. that I think.... ..... and that fact is the real nigthmare of ren.... for that reason I can´t think what kind of suffer he can cross when he was a child... nothing is more awfull that the  contempt of their parents like kyoko... and ren had his parents love... and for that i CAN´T IMAGINE HI SUFFER OR THE REASON..... hehehehe thanks for your answer
