Sadly, Nintendo's president and CEO, Satoru Iwata, passed away over the weekend at the age of 55.This drawing is my little tribute to him. I chose to draw Kirby because Mr. Iwata was previously the president of HAL Laboratory, of which Kirby jointly belongs to. Mr. Iwata also worked on Kirby's Dream Land, as well as Balloon Fight, which is why I included the two red balloons.
Thank you Mr. Iwata for putting your heart and soul into a company that you loved. Millions of Nintendo fans around the world will surely miss you.

Personally, I've never owned a Nintendo game. But I think this year...Soon...I will finally get a 3DS to play a game.
I will mourn, fans will mourn, but what he has left behind, we will continue to support it.

t's so sad to see died like Satoru Iwata. I hate to see what will Mario and all of the Nintendo characters do without him.
At least Mario and everyone knows that they can take what they got and fly with it. Maybe this Satoru Iwata maybe gone, but he's still inside of us, inside Mario, inside Link, even inside Bowser.
