Andorians don't get enough credit. I know they're featured pretty prominently in the Expanded Universe, but unfortunately, the Prime Reality Expanded Universe isn't considered canon at all. It wasn't until ENT that they finally started getting developed... I can't help but feel like every "Trek" series has a few "featured races" that they dwell more on.

Blue people are awesome. Also, I love how these guys are fiery, hot-tempered and impulsive. They're like the Federation's answer to the Klingons. They don't get along with the Vulcans, they barely get along with the humans but they're as committed to the Federation as anybody else. They're actually really idealistic too. The Expanded Universe says that they were once ruled by an emperor and still call themselves an empire, but they now intentionally leave their throne empty as a symbolic gesture and have a more free government. And they were willing to help the humans when the Romulans tried to destroy Earth... I guess what I'm getting at is that they're almost like a Tsundere race or something.
