Umiko's quirk allows her to mutate large plant life into monsters. She uses her energy to create these new forms of life, and the resulting product depends on how much energy she has used, and still has within her. She controls her mutations to act as defense or offence by giving them a goal while being created.
Ex: "Protect my friends." "Back me up in this fight." "Distract the enemy."

*30-50% of her energy goes into making a mutation, depending on what she is working with, on how strong she is making the monster. (this will make her sleepy, feel tired, and will make her have less control over her mutation.)
*20-40% of her energy goes into controlling her mutation.
*She and her mutation share the same energy level, as Umiko grows tired, her mutation does as well, making it weaker by the minute.
*Both Umiko and the mutation will share each others senses, if one is attacked, the other will feel their pain. (as if theyre the ones being attacked themselves)
*Umiko's mutation can only survive for as long as 10 minutes, passing the time limit will make them perish immediately.
*Umiko can revert her mutations back to as they were before, doing this will allow Umiko regain half of the energy she lost while making them. (She does this before her mutations time limit is over, so she could at least gain some energy back to try and make another one)
*Umiko can never have more than one mutation at a time. Her first mutation is always her best, when she reverts it back, the next mutation she makes will be significantly weaker.

Being the first born child to a young couple, her father had just begun pursuing his career of a florist by opening a small business. From day one, Umiko was surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants, and as years passed by, she found herself working alongside her father, delivering flower rearrangements and even making a few of her own. Nearing the age of four, Umiko grew with excitement, wondering just what her quirk will end up being, either given the ability to mutate plants like her father, or being given the ability or super-hearing. The day her quirk was revealed, her father had just told her a joke, that she had found extremely hilarious. Squeezing her eyes closed she burst out in laughter, and suddenly, yellow and red flowers grew from her hair. But it didn't end just yet. The plants around her began to writhe and grow. As soon as her laughter grew quiet and she opened her eyes again, the first thing she saw was her father. Eyes widened in surprise, but with a smile on his face he stared down at his daughter, Umiko looked around her and saw all of these plant mutations, which she believed her father had made. But then she noticed the flowers in her hair.

Ever since that day, Umiko's father had dragged her along, naming her the future owner of his flower shop. She felt unsure of this idea, she liked hanging around in her father's shop, but she hasn't even thought about what she wanted to do in the future. The next year of her life weas fairly secluded, she came home every day to her father waiting for her, excited to teach him further more about how to run a business. Never having time to herself, Umiko never went out much, the only time she would see her friends was at school, or she just happened to bump into them while delivering a flower arrangement.

Being very protective of her siblings, the moment she realized what she wanted to do with her future was after she scared a boy off form bullying her younger brother. That was when he called her My hero. Those words made Umiko smile, it made her feel confident and only made her wonder if anyone else would call her that. Her parents were surprised to hear this, Umiko's plans to become a hero made their mouths drop. After a few moments of thinking, her mother smiled and assured her that she would become the best hero there was, that she would save thousands, but her father didn't really seem to feel the same way. He thought it was dangerous, and it made him feel anxious. Umiko definitely noticed his feelings about this, and it only made her grow quiet. At the age of 7, her father grew deathly ill and became bedridden for months. The last time she saw him was at the hospital, and she can still remember what he had told her on that day.

"You know what? Running a company definitely isn't for you. I'm not sure why it took me this long to realize it. This entire time, you took better care of your brothers than I did. You are definitely the hero of this family, and soon you will be the hero of this city. Maybe even the hero of this country. You'll do that, right? Save the people of this city, they will look at you in awe, and they will aspire to be a hero as great as you. Make me proud. Become the best hero there is out there."

Each time she believes she can no longer proceed, she relives the scene in her head, and it's suddenly easier for her as it was before.
