while viewing this, i couldn't help but wonder if the church will ever re-establish itself to the degree it had been hundreds of years ago. you said it has a Sci-fi touch, and it is interesting how many sci-fi novels incorporate a revived religion as a main theme (Riddley Walker, Canticle for Lebowitz). With the threat of an apocalypse looming in the air (whether by wheather or nuclear war), i wonder if people will, if still alive hundred of years from now, resort to organized religion as means of survival.

i basically think churches are great elements of architecture, that's why i like to picture them in my photos.... but your point about sci fi / religion is very interesting...
