A cold Autumn breeze was blowing through the night air. The Lovely Shirt was worried: it would be late if it was not worn soon, and it was not fit to be displayed in its wrinkly condition. Anxiously it paced the room, inventing and dismissing wild ways to free itself from it's dilemma.
Suddenly, a thought struck its synthetic mind: had it not, so many times before, turned to the one called The Iron? That famed witch who solved the problems of the desperate when none could? Surely The Iron could help it now!
So, The Lovely Shirt set out to find The Iron, and request its assistance for that evening. The two met, and the witch agreed to help the fretful piece of clothing, but on one condition: The Lovely Shirt would forever after live a half life, never free to be a complete shirt. The Lovely Shirt was worried, but knew it had no choice, for only The Iron could remove its wrinkles.
The Lovely Shirt and The Iron made their agreement, and instantly The Iron set about eradicating the wrinkles from The Lovely Shirt, and oh! How good it felt! The wrinkles that plagued The Lovely Shirt were disappearing before its very eyes.
But The Iron was shit and The Lovely Shirt got a hole burned into it.
