Description
Part 1Pinocchio was not expecting that, his plan was to simply choke the Terrible Dogfish with petroleum and setting it on fire for extra injury.
Anyway, finally this boring fucker is down. One more character to go before the revenge quest is over. Can't believe I made it this far, maybe I'll be able to show the entire storyline of Evilokio before the end of the year.
Only real movie nerds will be able to recognize from what movie the "Say AAAH motherfucker!" line comes from, I won't say what it is.
(Do NOT pretend to know it after looking it up on Google, that's cheating ) only cult movie geeks that watch a fair amount of B-movies and schlocky SciFi horror movies, viewers of GoodBadFlicks and channels like that, should recognize it. A lazy hack would've had Pinocchio quote Jaws before blowing up the monster but nope, I prefer to reference more deep cut stuff. Or if it's a famous film, I make less obvious nods.

I myself when I reference stuff, it depends how blatant I am with it. I write a fanfic for Percy Jackson universe, it's a world where gods exist in modern time and have demigod children, and they live in a camp, separated by their parents into cabins. I came up with the idea that the counselor of the Aphrodite cabin wears a pink scrunchie, passed down from the previous counselor, and the name of the chapter will be "If you want to fuck with the doves, you better learn how to fly". And the current counselor just happens to be an awful bitch, that also didn't like the previous counselor (Though it's different from Heather, in that in Heathers Duke really didn't like Chandler, and in my story, the current counselor actually loved her older half-sister, and is acting abusively to her siblings in a twisted way of grieving). Because sometimes I like being very blatant about this stuff, but I also reference more obscure stuff, I just like referencing and taking inspiration from the stuff I like.

The fisherman, the snake I decided to cut out because it was already killed in the book, the focus is getting revenge on the figures that wronged him and are still on the loose.
(that image shouldn't be considered legit canon tho, for example in that one I made Pinocchio create a drum out of the Coachman's skin but in the story he doesn't do that)
