Viilemile is a small world near the outer edge of the galaxy, in the Norma Arm, not far away, relatively speaking, from Kahlla; it is the low gravity homeworld of the Arkenite and their state, the Arken Sovereignty, a vassal state to the ancient Xannacoarru Protectorate.

The center star, Duvtray, is a G type yellow dwarf younger and smaller than Sol; it is the primary and larger star that forms a binary pair with a very distant M type red dwarf. Viilemile orbits square in the habitable zone, at 0.718 AU or 107 million km, completing an orbit in 238 days, or 40.8 local days (with a local day being 140 hours). At just 9166 km it is on the smaller end of habitable worlds, with a density similar to Earth.

Because it is small, Viilemile's interior heat has diminished significantly, but it is kept warm and stable thanks to its moon, Lision, which, while small, orbits extremely close in a fairy eccentric orbit. Even so, the planet's magnetic field is weak, allowing its surface to be bombarded by significant solar radiation, though still strong enough that the solar wind blows away the atmosphere and hydrosphere.

About 44% of its surface is covered in liquid water, forming three major oceans separating three continents. A fairy dense atmosphere compared to its size, fairy rich in carbon dioxide, together with a very low axial tilt (just 4 degrees) allows for a stable global climate, with high humidity and temperatures of an average 16 degrees Celsius. The two larger continents, Cimirrim and Conkete, are home to vast expanses of grasslands and savannas, where the local arkenites have evolved; peppering the endless savannas are sparse forests of large trees called Anurra, which in the low gravity can grow up to half a mile (apr 800 meters) tall. It was on these behemoths that the locals developed their early civilizations. The smaller continent, Abetena, is divided into the prairie dominated norther half and the massive jungles of the south, which in places has can dwarf even the anurra.

Being arboreal creatures by nature, the arkenites prefer to build vertically as much as possible. As such, after leaving the safety of the anurras, they have over the millennia developed some very advance building techniques in order to accomplish this, creating structures similar to skyscrapers, hundreds of meters tall, much earlier than almost any other known civilization. In modern times, three major cities have rose up to overlook the flat plains. Vamar, Aluse and Tamubh house, put together, over 1.2 billion of the 1.5 billion population of Viilemile; thousands of massive, mile high spires rise into the atmosphere, with numerous open air overlooks.

Vamar, the capital, is home to the single tallest building in the galaxy that is not a space elevator: at ten kilometers high, the Sovereign Building is the central government building of the Sovereignty, built from the same materials used for dreadnoughts and with a similar cost, is stands as one of the wonders of the galaxy.

As a protectorate of the Xannacoarru, the only military forces on Viilemile is the domestic police forces. A single vessel, one of the legendary Xannacoarru Dreadnoughts, believed to be the most dangerous ships in the entire galaxy, stands watch at the edge of the system, acting as a deterrent for any invasion force as per the Sovereignty's treaties with the Protectorate.
