Description Here's a black leather version of the Post-Apocalyptic sawback knife I did a few months ago. It's essentially the same knife, with small variations of the knife itself, and more significant changes to the sheath. The death poker is made of mostly 3D printed parts and PVC. I like the lines of this knife, so I'll likely keep refining it with more builds. En-joy!

Now you have made something very interesting.  You might consider getting a grinder, my cheap waist high grinder works very well at turning old knives into new ones.

I love grinders, but sometimes it seems like all I do is grind. Grind in the morning. Grind in the evening. Hmmm, maybe that's not the best wording. LOL, I tend not use my real grinders because it wrecks havoc on the soft materials I use. It's mostly dremels, mouse sanders, and hand tools for me. Glad you like the piece!

I like working metal.  I have 3 Dremel kits, none complete.  Your creations would be very welcome on a movie set.

That's my hope, but I can't wait forever for Sexy Radioactive Mutant Girls Gone Wild Vol 8 to finally come out before I get some recognition in the industry! I must build more...

I loved working on metal too, but right now there's not much call for it in my current props. It's just easier to do things in resin or print them. I still do some wire jewelry from time to time, but I'm not at the point I could fool...er...convince someone to buy them.

What kind of printer do you have?  It seems to be pretty good.

A Crealty CR-10 s5. It's a large format printer (500mm X 500mm) but I mostly use it for printing smaller things. It doesn't make anything I couldn't fabricate before, but now I can do it with consistency and precision...and a lot less work. It's slower, but now I can do other things while I wait for it to print. Awesome tool.

My brother wants one and he has been waiting to see which way the technology was going to jump.  I like what you are doing with it.

As long as he has things to print, he won't regret it. I only feel that way when it sits idle and I'm working on other projects. They've even got a resin coating printer for $250 which makes finishing so much faster. I spend way too much time sanding stuff....
