What do you use as a base to start the weapon??
what material do you use to "build up" the design?

You konw what'd be awesome? If you used the drum magazine from the Nerf Raider for this. As to sum up Bandit's creed, complete with the punctuation they'd use:

Nice, though a drum magazine (or at least one of those magazines with the spare taped at the other end) might be more appropriate for a bandit gun.
