This set is wonderful! I really like the colors and composition and the contrasting atmospheres - how this piece is light ethereal and the other is dark and sinister. And they're very well executed - they definitely seem realistic despite the surreal environments.
The concept itself is really great - reminds me somewhat of ~Acrylicdreams ' '2 faces of our world' set.

I like the composition - it makes me wonder which is dream - the surrounding of the girl or behind the portal. Another thing that deserves a praise is your wonderful attention to detail in this piece.

well the portal does have a meaning. The surrounding is her dream, her escape from a hellish reality thats seeking through portal. Its hard to make out but the imagery is a city in ruin. thanks for the comment

Awesome painting! I love the colours... and I sense a lot of symbolism in here. It's both nice and creepy how everything looks dead, except for the patch of green grass around the girl. The rose is a nice addition, I love it how it looks alive, but withers where it touches the 'dead' ground.
All in all - beautiful.

This is so beautiful and I love the doorway. My only critique for this is the lighting on the girl isn't as harsh as the rest of the image, so she looks a little flat and out of place. I'll be featuring this in my journal shortly.
