I'm gonna add a bit to the ears thing and say that two sets of ears on kemonomimi (which Jade pretty much is) never made sense to me because of how anatomically impossible that is. Like how on Earth the ear canals would link up, two sets of auditory organs, etc. And in canon, her human ears are definitely replaced.
Other than that (and the distance lack of buttons), I really like your design for Jade (and Bec)! You've got her character down to a tee. <3

why thank you<3 yeah I never really got a chance to finish so yeah the buttons never made it and the ears.... well idk I just felt like it I guess? no real reason forΒ them and I must admit I had the same problem with the whole 2 sets of ears thing for quite a while I guess I just got used to it.... and thank you for liking Bec its my first try drawing him and was quite worried about what people would think about it

Lol, it's just little thing I noticed.
As for ears, the biology nerd in me will sadly never let me really get used to two sets. I'm only okay with them in Loveless because in that universe the ears and tails are serve purely as physical representations of virginity instead of any actual biological purpose.
But it's cool; I won't get on your case any further about this particular art choice.

Personal headcanon tells me her ears are replaced and not added to, but then again technically we never see them to begin with. omggg I've seen this when it first got posted ad I still love it! You captured her so well!
