Continuing in my vein of 'what can I draw in Illustrator that involves experimenting with shiny?', I made a brownie sundae. I decided about a week ago that my shops needed more ice cream stuff and so researched sundaes. There are so many different ones out there! I know that most people are suffering through extreme heat due to the heat wave in most of the USA. Maybe a sundae would be an idea lunch.

This is my favourite dessert, I have it each time I go to my local restaurant. And now seeing this lovely piece of work, I want to save up some money again and go out to eat there. Of course the icecream on top never looks as perfact as this,

Aw, thanks! I'm glad you said that cause most of the time I get the feeling that people don't bother to read the artist's description (as cued by people who ask me questions that were already answered in the description!)

I think it's nice to hear about the creation of or the meaning behind a piece of art. If there is a description, everyone should read it, because it means the artist has something to say. You could argue a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes the description is worth just as much.

Hm, I've never done a tutorial before. Mostly cause I suspect that my techniques in Illustrator are the super long/hard way as most of my Illustrator skills were learned by my stumbling around and then saying 'Ah, this works for what I want to do'. Mostly a lot of pen tool, copying and pasting, transparency, the knife tool and I used the pencil tool to freehand the ice cream texture as it was more random that way like real ice cream.
