"Hands ! " The blonde woman yelled as she watched Kaira trot the black stallion around the arena, which was filled with 6 riders and 2 trainers. Ramon and Lisa were there to judge who would make the team this year and who didn't. Clearly the riders were nervous, even Kaira seemed to be slightly less relaxed than normally. So she quickly minded her hands when Lisa pointed it out, no time to mess up or be stubborn. Lisa was the one in charge after all.

" she is no good. " Ramon said as he and Lisa followed every move, him shaking his head slightly. " I've trained her before, stubborn. Very stubborn. Sloppy as well. I am surprised they invited her again. "
The woman simply tsk'ed him with a roll of her eyes. " It looks fine to me Ramon, have you seen that seat ? Her legs barely move or touch the horse. Soft aids and soft hands. How often do you come across that these days ? And the stallion she rides has so much talent, we could help them a lot and that's what counts here. To help them reach the top."

" I'd much rather watch this." Ramon pointed at another pair, a long legged dark brown stallion ridden by a younger girl by the name of Christina. The stallion showing an impressive and proud trot. " Now that's what I am looking for. "
" Naturally.. " Lisa agreed with what he said, but her face clearly disagreed. " It's the horse. Not the rider. Also, it's really obvious you are just trying to praise your own horse here Ramon. "
" We can train her too, like you want to do with her. Which is a waste of time, believe me I tried. " His eyes almost pierced through Kaira as he followed her. " And I am just speaking the truth. This stallion is amazing."

Lisa simply smiled as she took one last look at every single one of the riders. " You still have a lot to learn, like when you just need to stop talking. Which is now... " She looked him in the eyes, almost feeling sorry for herself she got teamed up with him this year. "Well, I've made my decision. They are both in it, so don't worry you crybaby. It's what we both want. "

Slowly she made her way out of the riding hall, all the riders immediatly making a transition to walk and nervously staring at Ramon. Who left shortly after. Only 4 of them would get picked and they of course all wanted it. And as they waited Kaira got distracted, the dark brown stallion had come closer to say hi. For no good reason at all. The drool that dripped from his mouth covered her clothes, leaving the girl riding him giggling. Truly, she didn't mind one bit and she simply stroke him over his nose as long as he was there. It was rather odd to have a strange stallion so..Cuddly ? And ..His blaze had changed shape too ?

One by one they left to untack, the dark brown stallion barely wanting to leave the arena once the girl asked him to walk. Leaving Kaira with the black stallion she got offered to use today. A lovely fella really, he helped her out today for sure. She dismounted him, letting herself drop to the ground carefully and rewarded him with a pet in the neck. Leaving behind a very strange white trail.. What on earth ?

" Is that.. paint ? " She said to herself, looking around in confusion. " Where did that come from ? "
