A moon elf, Lenah Moonspell.I have been working on this a little at a time for a week now. And I'm still not 100% sure I like it. I don't think its an example of my best work, but for some reason I can't just trash it either, so I keep picking at it. Anyway, I think it's more or less done now.

The elf was painted from scratch but with a photo reference for pose.
Background is a stock photo by: ~seeteufel
The Moths were a paintbrush I made from a stock photo that was not properly labeled so I reeeaaally apologize to the owner of it that I can't credit this properly. If anyone recognizes it, then please let me know so I can give proper credit.

That's really beautiful. Everything about the elf looks so soft. I love the clothes design, and the color coordinated butterflies/moths flying above her. And the scenery's naturally stunning and very tranquil.

Thank you so much. This one grew on me a lot as it developed. I still see a lot of things in it that I don't like, but for the most part, I think it came out well and I love the colors.

I really quite like this picture, although you say this isn't an example of your best work. I've not looked through your gallery. And im quite impressed by this. I really like the colouring of the character. And the kind of detail/shading going on. It is the kind of picture I can look at for a while. The moths are a nice touch, and the background stock image you have used. Suits the character. Gives it a magical/fantasy feel. Well done.
