At first I was kinda upset that he went down without us seeing the fight... but then I thought, where's the loss and violation in that, dying after a good fight is just what he always wanted, but if he gets totally curbstomped, you feel like something he should have had was taken from him - and this is what a traumatic character death should be like.
Poor Yachiru, both her favorite men got killed on such short notice. If she survived, we might actually see her fight.

something tells me that if we did see yachiru fight, it would be unexpectedly awesome. its always the small, cute ones you have to watch out for.
kubo seems to be killing off a lot of the fan favorites. kenpachi, yamamoto, etc. while probably not as popular as the main characters, it still is going to leave a lot of people very unhappy.
