fanart of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel, Pyramids. well, not really fanart... more of an exercise in drawing characters from books. that's why i left in flats and the colors' all wonky... yeah.

anyway, the characters from right to left:

Chidder (or Chiddy)- a man who goes through life as if he's already figured it out. Assassin, keen edificer and later on captain of the Unnamed in the exciting world of "Commerce". i heart him.

(P)Teppic (or Teppi)- Assassin, keen edificer, prince and later on Pharaoh of the old old old kingdom of Djelibeybi (lit. Child of the Djel). Also a god- if you are looking for a god to make the sun rise and the river to flood, he's your man (but it could sometimes get embarassing).

Arthur- a very very good Assassin, being the son of the late Johan Ludorum, one of the greatest assassins in the history of the guild. Came into his own after getting over his fear of the Great Orm coming out at night to disembowel him.

Cheesewright- a skinny young man with red hair and a face that was one huge freckle. Got as far as the 7th year as student Assassin, sadly failed the last Assassin exam. R.I.P. Cheesewright, who owed Chidder four pence.
