I've currently got a fountain pen too.
I use it mostly for school, but if I wanted to I could use it for art
it was just 18 dollars online when I got it.
It is the Jinhao 1200
Personal opinion of it
Writes well, and looks nice(as long as you don't get the gold or silver version(get black if you get this pen)), Has a good construction, but could stand to be a bit more durable.
But then again, I got the thing for 18 bucks when a good pen usually costs around 40 or more (some VERY high end pens can go for a few hundred to a few thousand)
all in all, for it's price, it is a great pen.

You have one pen costs $ 18-40?! Wow.. if translated into rubles, that is ~1160-2580 rubles ~-~ By our standards, that's a lot for one pen, because we have one regular pen is ~5-15 rubles. Well, of course, more "professional" pen costs ~30-45 rubles (don't know about You, but we in Russia with this money you can buy a small loaf of bread)). I use a pen "PILOT HI-TECPOINT V5 GRI". My opinion about this pen is positive. But still there is one drawback - it ends quickly (for me it is enough for 5-6 of the drawings, which is quite a few).

Well, I could get some good pens for much cheaper (2 dollars a piece) But I prefer not to because I like metal pens.
so I just have slightly more expensive tastes.

Heh, yeah, the "rich" I'm the same as You ^^' 2 dollars per a normal pen? For me Russian girl is still a lot, because 2$ = 128 rubles, for an ordinary pen pretty (no, very) much. We have a normal pen, as I have said before, costs 5-15 rubles. I prefer, in terms of letters, a regular black gel pen and for drawing - capillary pens.
