Description
As the strongest monster to roam the school halls, shouldering the sousaphone in Lurching Band is no problem for Abbey. Playing halftime at school football games also affords Abbey time to fang out with Heath Burns, whom she encourages in his struggle with the weight of his piccolo.
Why the sousaphone? Abbey is a BAMF, and would be drawn to one particular section of BAMFs in the instrument world, low brass. The biggest and baddest brass BAMF is the sousaphone. Abbey probably has experience playing some kind of yak horn-derived instrument from home, which gives her the chops necessary to wail on this horn too!

It's amazing art and, I play sousaphone so I should know, a rather accurate depiction of the instrument. My only complaint is that the body is a touch big on her, typically it would be up higher on her body. But that's just me! Lovely otherwise, stunning really!

Thank you! I'm glad you agree with my choice of instrument. This whole Musical Monster High series of fanarts came from an in-car conversation with a friend that had us nearly crying with laughter in finding fitting, and hilarious, instruments for each character. Some marching sousaphone players decorate the bell of their horn in favor of their football team or whatever, so my original idea was to have ADGAF emblazoned on Abbey's, because "Abbey DGAF" was the original defense for why Abbey would choose such a totally unique, and totally ABBEY, instrument like sousaphone
