It's been a long time since I tried the Twilight books and though I wouldn't say I was a great fan I rather like Edward and Jacob, though I'm fond of werewolves in particular and vampires to a slightly lesser degree anyway. Even so it's fun to see Edward and Jacob finding a new way to resolve their rivalry and one which Bella would probably find quite amusing if she didn't decide to tickle them both. You definitely did a great job as well with showing their expressions, Edward showing his gleaming fangs and one golden eye open while Jacob looks like he's laughing harder and is teary eyed, so I think sadly it doesn't look like he'll be victorious. It's also nice seeing you gave Jacob broader feet while Edward has rather elegant and slender feet which I think fit quite nicely with their respective natures.
I remember the werewolves tended to go barefoot so might have somewhat tougher feet that way though I don't think that would make much of a difference with a vampire's strength and with the speed and general invulnerability a vampire displays I think it would be almost impossible for a werewolf to defeat one in a straight up tickle fight. That could actually make for a fun crossover, seeing if Edward could defeat some other werewolves in tickle fights and prove vampire superiority or even take on some other fictional vampires to show Twilight vampires deserve respect.

The vampires and werewolves would be all right if they got rid of the dreary characters. Alas, there was no chance of their doing that, given the target audience. I'm glad you were able to get something out of the series, but Dark Shadows has nothing to fear.

dreary i wonder who you could possibly be referring to cough cough bella lol but, we'll have to agree to disagree on that those are actually my favorite characters there the ones who set that dark sorta depressing serious atmosphere i love in certain movies lol, i know not everyone likes that but that was my favorite thing about twilight it brought me into this world so different from my own this kinda twisted modern fairy tail well thats what me and my friends see when we watch it, i still to this day remember the first time i saw it awwww the memories lol . and whats this dark shadows you speak of?is it that one movie with johnny deep i think he was a vampire? i also think i might of been a comedy or am i mistaken?

It was a television programme originally running from 1967-1971 and since then every so often rerun on a science fiction channel on which the JD film was based. I didn't see the film.
As for Twilight, I dislike on principle almost anything designed to convince any girl between ten and adulthood that she is a Pretty Pretty Princess who simply for not having a Y chromosome is entitled to the attentions of at least one male who in reality deserves a good deal better.
Scratch the ten to adult part. That vile 50 Shades of Grey is no better.

It's probably a perspective you haven't encountered often; no shame in that. Put into simpler terms, there's an attitude that Every Girl Deserves a Prince. Or, when a female character is presented as extraordinary, the bar is set much lower for her than it is for male characters. Not exactly flattering for women, but overall pushing both men and women into outdated gender role models where he will go move the earth and she will just show up - bad for both.
I commend you for looking into things before you dislike them, and I admit that I have not seen any films for a few years, but I have read enough about Twilight from writers whose opinions I know I can trust to accept that I'd probably find far too much to dislike. One cannot experience everything personally; there isn't time enough.

well now that you explain it that way i actually think ive ran into this perspective a couple times im not sure but i think i know what your saying that males and females often giving these generic gender roles were women are helpless creatures who need the protection of a man who will put everything on the line for her yea i know what you mean its been done to death interesting i never really thought about it that much but i mean if you had your way how would it be ? cause honestly thats how things have been for as long as i can remember is there even another way to present gender roles ?
and thanks for commending me lol it comes in handy in conversations and when people make request since ive watched almost every show ever made or have some knowledge of them that's actually how i met most of my friends, and i understand and respect your opinion its your choice on what you like and dont like, my whole point was to just try to keep an open mind when it comes on to things cause they might take you by surprise and turn out to be alot better then you ever thought they could be ^-^

Ah, there's nothing wrong with liking something despite its flaws if one recognizes what's problematic and would make an improvement.
There are plenty of ways to break down outmoded gender roles. Value women for things other than their looks; don't direct girls to the pink section of the toy store, etc. Value men for qualities traditionally seen as feminine. It's not so hard.
Of course I appreciate that some people like many of the side effects of traditional gender roles. Not wanting to be seen as unmanly has what is an enjoyable effect for many on certain people's behaviour and reactions in certain situations. But there's a difference between enjoying things privately and advocating for the world in general to run that way.

Isn't that the truth nothings perfect all things have flaws and as long as people recognize that and understand there's room for improvement then its perfectly fine ^-^ i agree with you on that for sure
OMG i totally get what your coming from i think its really cool when people dont restrict them selves from liking something or being into something because it goes against what is usual from there gender im actually living proof of that being as im a straight guy who loves stuff like twilight and can enjoy and appreciate most shows that are made for girls im that guy in my group of friends who's not afraid to admit he likes girly stuff i really love seeing people defy there gender roles girls who love playing video games and guy who's favorite color is pink, little things like that is what makes life fun to live you never know who your gonna come across ,
i think its kinda funny when guys try to come of really manly all the time its kinda adorable lol and i can really appreciate it in a dude it in it self is a interesting personality trait. but what i really hate is when i see people getting picked on for being and individual , my guy friends make fun of me all the time for being feminine and say im gay all the time cause i guess liking girly things some how automatically means your attracted to guys which isnt the case for me but hey i just blame it on ignorance and just be who i am ,
your so right people should be allowed to be who they are with out persecution no matter who that person is as long as there not hurting anybody ^-^

So there you are - just by being yourself, you strike a valuable blow in the struggle against restrictive gender roles. Carry on! I hope your friends don't take too long to come around.

lol yea its like cool for everyone to hate on twilight and i understand that it looks like some cheesy fantasy fairy tail but if they actually watch it they'd realize how badass it truly is i mean theres people geting decapitated left and right but they dont show it in previews so people dont know that so they try to fit in by saying it sucks but hey whatever i could care less me and my people like it im glad your not a mindless hater.
lol i was shocked when i saw that you didnt want to take part in teen week something told me that this week was gonna be really good but im sure youll have another opportunity down the line to express that idea especially since alot of the categories overlap each other in a way at times so make sure you to vote wisely ^_^
