hmm well that's an interesting way to put it,i wont lie i'm familiar with the annotation of the word politically correct and kinda knew that's what you meant when you said p.c, it's just i had a sort of knee jerk reaction to the word as its often associated with a some what racist connotation on the internet,and then the whole feminist thing to it kinda seems like you would have the picture in a reverse scenario ? i just say this because you talk about why other groups would like it but kinda alluding to you not liking it yourself and for that very reason maybe ?.i hope i haven't offended you especially if that wasn't what your comment was intending :/

No offense. I don't attach either approval or disapproval to a mention of anything being politically correct (or incorrect). My saying that I know several feminists who would approve of the picture had nothing to do with my own opinion; it was just to give you an idea if you weren't familiar with the terminology.
I appreciate that there are people who use "PC" as as term of derision, but I am not one of them. I thought the way I framed it made approval of your concept implicit. Sorry if I made you think I didn't approve, or would have wanted the picture the other way around. I thought it was quite clever of you.
I could have elaborated a bit, but didn't know how you'd take the idea.

i'm sorry as usual your vocabulary leaves me dumbfounded when i attempt to decipher what it is you mean when you say certain things,its just the world "politically correct" and "feminist" are usually red flags on the internet for some one who is racist (which i don't have a problem with its there life ) and i remember reading one of your journals which i'm guessing i probably didn't read right which lol saying something about minorities i think upsetting you in some situation, anyway that isn't any of my business i just wanted to explain why i even questioned you from now on im just gonna assume that what ever you comment to my drawings have no malice to them , your a nice guy and i should stop assuming any sort of ill will from you .
even now i ask myself why you'd say you appreciate people who use pc as an insult but i'm positive that's probably not even what you meant by that . and you don't have to be sorry i'm the one who read your message wrong and also please don't feel like you always have to like my piece when you don't i'd love to hear it it helps me do better i love critiques.oh and i also hope you don't think i have anything against the reverse situation as i originally intended to have the table split while the pilgrim and native american were tickled by there respective adversaries . but everyone favored the pilgrim tickling

"Appreciate" I just use as a substitute for "understand" on occasion, usually to put a slightly negative spin on a situation, such as "I appreciate that Sparta has not defeated Athens in a sea battle, but we must break the Athenian blockade."
I don't attach either positive or negative value to calling something PC or feminist. If I'd meant to express disapproval, I'd have called something "too PC", but I liked the idea. Maybe the Native Americans found proof of what the Pilgrims were planning to do, and delivered an appropriate native response. You are right that many people use those terms in a derogatory way, but I associate with very different groups.
It would have been an interesting picture as you originally conceptualized it as well.
I am generally pro-feminist, just for the record.
The post that you remember concerned my being upset about typical majoritarian pushiness, but I can see how it might have gotten fuzzy.
I try to sound at least reasonably unique, which may sometimes come across as backhanded criticism, but that's not my style. I generally try to frame constructive criticism very clearly, so that comments which might seem that way but aren't clear usually indicate that I liked something or at least found it interesting.
I don't at all mind long comments and exchanges, and am happy to clarify anything for you.

That's okay. It's easy to be made nervous by people on the internet.
My connection has been very iffy for the last week, and I have had to order a new modem. If I am around a lot less in the near future, that's why.
