This is my gift to as part of TP revamp's secret santa 2018. After looking through his gallery I decided to make an 8 bit version of his OC Trisha in pirate gear! The sprite is done in the style of the Nintendo NES, and uses only colors from it's color palette, while also following the rules of only using 8x8 pixel squares to make up the picture. Each Square where part of the background is visible can only ever use 3 colors, as the NES could only use 4 colors per sprite, but 1 color was always set aside as the default invisible layer. Pixel squares that do not contain the background color are still only allowed to use 4 colors, and there is no color bleeding from one square to the other, this entire picture can be broken up into a grid of 8x8 pixel squares, and none of them will contain more than their allowed number of colors.
