I kinda wanted to get into this ship but I hardly see any reason for these two to be together. The rabid fanbrats ruined it for me whenever I posted something that wasn't Lapidot.
I posted a different ship with Jamie and Lapis and few others have done so too, and halfway in the comments was just "Lapidot is better!!" "She loves Peridot!!" "U Faggot!" Yes people are that bratty unfortunately...
Now I low key hate this ship...but glad I'm not alone in this.
I prefer seeing them as friends or sisters. Other Lapidot or just regular pictures of them together being more neutral or platonic feels a lot more genuine, not forced or awkward.
