I think he's saying, that when some people hit a rough patch in their life, they blame God, and then finally start declaring he doesn't exist. Dramatic example: "I wanted a bike for Christmas, but I didn't get one, so God hates me! Or he doesn't exist!"

Yeah, god doesnt exist so how can he not like me, oh wait, let me guess, you think us atheists dont believe in god because you think that he somehow abandoned us or some shit and then we stopped believing because we thought god didnt pay us attention, lol. I laugh every time I see such a stamp and the comments under it. Proud Christians leave them and they're most times full of hate. It's truly unbelievable how mean and annoying people that should be - according to their religion - nice and tolerant may really be. They create all those senseless conversations under such stamps - and where should they lead us?
Anyway, absolutely support it. If god is so merciful and loving, why does he let innocent people hurt? Yeah, well, because he isn't.

well to answer your question sir or ma'am [and not in an argumentative manor, either]... i'm not sure how much you actually know about "God" and history but humans have something called the "knowledge of good and evil". evil happens because people can choose to do so and quite honestly it is "hard" to be a good person. doing wrong, lying, stealing, cheating, is a lot easier then doing good. thus good people get screwed over a lot. Humans function according to their own whim.
on top of which, i have to laugh myself. people blame everything on God and forget that in God believing religions there is an Antagonist named Satan who does and caused evil in the world. people are very... and i mean very... quick to blame God and or anyone but themselves. bad things also happen to people who make stupid choices.
ex: a kinda hearted girl gets raped and she blames God.
well, maybe she shouldn't have went to a party alone with a bunch of drunk horny men.
see what i mean?
