She's been very helpful! Aravi isn't the easiest character to play as, and Jenna's made some difficult fights much more manageable.

That's good! I hear that a lot from the mod users I know. I found her pretty helpful myself.
Though I got mad one time because my other PC character went to Orphan Rock with Jenna and Erik and they wiped out three witches before I had a chance to draw my war axe!

I can handle two followers. But after that, things get a little confusing.
Oh, heck, on the PS3, Erik's always blocking Jenna's way as of late. "Don't leave me at the Inn! I missed you! Stop palling around with Serana!" 
Oh, I forgot to ask, what makes Aravi's playstyle difficult? I'm kind of interested in how she fights.

She fights with dual swords, bow, poisons, and sneaks a lot. She wears light armor, but until her level gets pretty high, she has very few of the associated perks and has a very low armor value. And unless she finds enchanted gear, she has almost no magic resistance.
When it comes to stand up fights, she has to obliterate her enemies very quickly or she's in a lot of trouble. Levels 12 through 24 can be rough because her main damage dealing trees are still being developed.
And a personal quirk only makes it more difficult. I don't use healing/magic/stamina potions. You can take as many as you want and they act instantly. So if you just pack enough, you are invincible. I didn't like it. So Aravi's only way to heal is with restoration magic or potions that increase her passive healing rate.
