Description
Confirmed to be in development at this year's E3, Kingdom Hearts III is currently set to be available on the horrible Xbox One and the PS4.

Its short but actually rather interesting.
Personally, I knew this was coming because of the ending to Dream Drop Distance. It was very obvious KH3 would be next to be made and that they'd be starting it soon. Hopefully by the time it comes out, I can catch up on actually playing BbS and DDD. Sure, I know their entire storyline but that doesn't mean I've actually played the game. I'm just very well informed on my favorite series

Great I just now I bought a PS3 for HD 1.5 Remix. Now I got to get a PS4 :/ Oh well. Since it was just announced. I know I got at least a year if not longer than that to save up for it.

Same here, only I bought it a while ago because they had been saying KH3 was going to be on the ps3 >< It's coming out in like 2016, so we have time...to much time actually. ;_;

Wow 2016?! Damn. By then Sony will probably have a PS5 out and the PS4 will be cheap enough for me, LOL. And yeah the rumor of KH3 on PS3 is the main reason why I bought this PS3. But oh well. I've got other great games for my PS3 so it panned out okay.

I could care less if it's on Xbox One, but I'm pretty upset that it's just on those two; not even on PS3
I don't want to spend money on PS4 since it's not backwards compatible, and don't want to spend non-existent money on a console just for one game, no matter how good it may be.

I'm not mad. Seriously, I'm not. Final Fantasy as a series has NEVER been a Sony exclusive series, and neither has Kingdom Hearts: their second game was a GBA title. While the series has mostly stuck its main games on Sony's offerings, I don't see anything strictly wrong with FF/KH making the move over to Microsoft as well. There's room enough in these franchises for everyone to have fun. Hell, I remember the epic whining about Final Fantasy XIII. And it kind of makes sense for them to do this: the 360 was more popular in America over the PS3 from what I recall, while the 360 basically fell flat on its face in Japan. This is basically them widening their audience to hopefully make it more successful. I will admit to being a little annoyed about it, but I can grow up and be mature about it. Think what Sora would say if he could understand what was going on: he'd talk about all the new friends he'd be able to make. Be a Smiling Sora, not a Sulking Xion.

I wanna make a statement:
Who else is actually surprise KH3 is also on Microsoft console. I mean the majority of the game was on Nintendo (ReCOM, ReCoded, DDD, Days) and Sony (KH1/FM, KH2/FM, BBS, and now KH3). I would though it would be on PS4 and half expected WiiU.
Oh well time to get more cash for the PS4.

It is very strange that its on the Xbox One and not the WiiU. I fully believe its an attempt to help get the system back on its feet after the backlash it experienced

I wish this could come out sooner so I could play it on a system I actually have... It's bad enough that if I want to play 3D and BBS, I would need to buy all new systems... The trailer is really exciting, though!

I played the original CoM and my pain in the backside was Maleficent. I left Hollow Bastion as the last card level before all the final bosses. I still regret it. Stupid dragon

I don't have one either, but I'm planing on getting one. I really love the KH series but what bugs me about it is that it keeps switching game consoles! And it's only on one or two of them! The games should be on multiple consoles.

Link when you go onto the Gamestop website, up on top it has options for a certain console. And I don't even see the wii or the DS. As one of those options. Just the new generation consoles. Now that's a sign. If you want one of those consoles, or a game for it. You have to search for it.

That sucks, I wish they would treat older consoles with the same respect as newer ones! Sure, sometimes we're limited to the games available to play on the PS2 because they are only released in certain places, etc, but they should at least try to keep satisfying our gaming needs

That's so ridiculous! I remember at my school dance, I requested Utada and the DJ didn't even put her on! The DJ instead put other "music" on. The mainstream poop like Nikki Manaj and other people I didn't know. (I don't pay attention to modern music usually. Most of it now a days is really bad rap and really bad pop.) At the dance there was only three songs I knew and liked. And that was "Every Time We Touch" by Cascada, Gangnam Style, and Thriller by Michael Jackson. (Which I think was the only old song they played.)

Yes, it is ridiculous! Same thing happened to me at my school dance. I can't remember what song I requested, but they put on that Call me Maybe crap instead I felt like having a swing at their throats with my heels.
Me too, I don't mind Gangnam Style, either. And I don't even bother paying attention to mainstream anymore.

If it comes out on a Nintendo console, it will be the Wii/Wii U, because neither the 3DS or normal DS will have enough memory for this. KH2 BATTLE SYSTEM FOR THE WIN

The KH2 battle system is AWESOME! And that would be a great idea if Square Enix decided to put KH3 on the Wii as well. If they put it on the DS systems, then they should put it on the Wii.
