"The young hybrid sat closely next to her mother, a bit frightened at the large group of cats. She wished Jo or Neil were here too, but no, they were back at camp. Without her siblings, she felt quite alone in the big world. Pressed up against Nebula, she listened to the announcements. She was apprenticed alongside Yuki and Hiyori, cats she didn't know. But her mentor was . . . Drake?? Her dad was going to mentor her? Well, that was a bit of a relief, and did soften some of the sorrow she was feeling. She'd wanted to train under Thalia as a healer, but... well, the empire leaders had decided it wasn't for her. Not yet anyways. She thought, the smallest frown going over her face. She wasn't going to give up on healing, it was what she wanted to do.. being a gladiator wasn't what she aspired to be. For the time being, at least the tiger could show her how to defend herself.. A small sigh escaped her as she looked around at cats smiling and laughing at their new ranks and such; curling up her tail, she leaned into her mother.

Paris paused a moment and looked over his shoulder at Artemis. "My name's Paris." He smiled. "C'mon, we're going this way." He gestured toward Clarity Rose. He allowed Artemis and Roimort to catch up before continuing toward the hybrid. He sat down beside Clarity Rose, a respectful distance away. "Hello." He greeted her. "I'm Paris, from Air Empire." He greeted her with a friendly, goofy smile. His odd eyes glinted happily.

Clarity was still coddled up next to her mother, feeling a bit nervous about the large group of cats. Her ears were back, but turned upon hearing the closing in of footsteps. A trio of cats were walking towards her, some sort of caracal, a clouded leopard, and jaguar. The jaguar she'd maybe seen around in the empire, and he smelled somewhat of home. Her indigo eyes followed the cats as the approached, carcal hybrid sitting himself down a little ways from her. He seemed friendly enough, greeting with with a large smile and shining eyes. Gathering up her courage she returned the smile, though in a much more nervous form. "Hello-" her gaze flicked up to the dark-furred jaguar who said hello, but made a disgusted face. Feeling a bit crestfallen, Clarity's ears fell back, and her tail curled tighter to her fluffy body. "Um, I'm Clarity, Clarity Rose.." she replied politely, in a voice hardly above a whisper while her eyes shot a nervous glance towards the bigger cat.

Paris smiled at Clarity, though his expression changed to an odd mix of amusement and annoyance as he turned to look at Roimort, who was clearly scaring the new apprentice. The bulky hybrid decided that he probably looked a little intimidating. He laid down, still a respectful distance from Clarity, so he didnt look so big. "So, you're a new apprentice? That's awesome! I never would have guessed you just graduated, I mean you look like you could be a gladiator already!" He purred, now looking up at Clarity. Paris looked at Luna with a smile. When Paris had first graduated he had almost met Hades. He was one of the first leaders Paris noticed after running up to Sator's gift to be with his mom."

"Seeing as her mother wasn't here this time, Clarity was standing particularly close to the front. She didn't know a ton of cats, and seeing as Luna was her mentor, and family friend, she was sticking right up there. A cat brushed past her, making the young hybrid jump. Just like last time, there were soooo many cats. She wished her siblings would rank up so that she wouldn't be alone here. She remembered the past gathering; pressed next to her mum the whole time, but she had met a few cats. Two air, one shadow. . go figure the shadow guy had been the scary one. What had their names been . . .? As the leaders finished, Clarity decided to try and sneak around to catch up with Luna. However as she turned around, her nose bumped into a grey colored cat. "I'm sorry!" she yelped, falling backwards to get out of their way. The cat she'd bumped into instantly recoiled, and replied with an angry hiss. Curling up on the ground, Clarity's wide eyes looked frightfully up at the cougar. "Im so so sorry." she apologized again, hiding her head under her paws. Oh, Aurelia she hadn't meant to upset anybody! She heard the cougar say something, but she wasn't quite sure. After a moment, she peeked up at the feline, hoping she wouldn't yell again.

Paris was always so excited about gatherings. Seeing new faces and even hearing all the announcements, good or bad. He was sitting near the center, among a few other air empire felines when he noticed a familiar pelt not far off. It was the new apprentice from the last gathering. He stood to approach her, only to see she had bumped into someone. As the other feline turned with some harsh words, Paris picked up the pace. He shot the cougar a warning look, not anything mean but just so she would step back for a moment or be more careful. He got down onto his belly with his head between his paws and his chin on the ground, he probably looked ridiculous to anyone else, especially with the goofy smile he gave Clarity. "Hey, I remember you! I doubt you remember me from the last gathering. I'm Paris." He said gently. He looked up at Dahlia and smiled. "Theres no need to snap at anyone, especially not at a gathering. Theres a lot of young apprentices, and a lot of cats to bump into." He said politely, looking around. With all the empires here, Stone excluded, it wasnt easy to get around without bumping into someone.

Hearing footsteps coming closer, the apprentice turned to see grey legs quickly walking over. She held her breath until suddenly a face plopped down next to hers, paws on either side of his cheeks. She knew this cat! The goofy look he gave her brought a smile onto her face, and she sat up a little. She looked up nervously, still quiet as he spoke to the cougar. Turning to him with her ears back she finally replied. "No . . I do know you," If there was something she was good at, it was remembering things. Names and faces were something she didn't forget. "Paris from air, there was another one with you last time. I like your scarf." she added shyly, but admiring the cloth.

As the cougar addressed her, Clarity curled her fuzzy tail up next to her side. "It's okay. . I am really sorry about that." she replied, looking at her toes, then up at the Shadow Empire cat. A moment later, an all too familiar face came over. He was big, spotted, and frightening. The last time they'd met his personality more than scared her, and now he was coming this way! Her tail fluffed up more than one would think possible, and she unintentionally scooted a bit closer to Paris. "Nothing," she said in a near whisper. No matter the scenario, she still tried to be polite.

Paris looked at Dahlia. He held back a little laugh as he noticed her stop herself from snapping at him. "Its okay to be a little scared, or snappy, your first gathering." He said, sitting up a little bit. He looked back at Clarity with a big smile. She had remembered him, and complimented his scarf! "Oh, thank you! Its my mothers, would you like to wear it? It bet it would look great on you!" He offered, just before noticing Roimort approaching. "Hey, Roimort." He nodded in greeting. They'd met at the last gathering, and even though Paris didnt know him too well, he still remembered his name. Clarity Rose shifted closer to the hybrid, and he tapped her side lightly in hopes of giving a little comfort in a scary situation. "You're all from Shadow Empire, right? Whats it like over there? Anything fun to do in your territory?" He asked, hoping to start some friendly conversation.

Would she like to wear it?? Honestly she was more than a bit surprised with the offer, but . . it did look really soft. "I-I mean if you don't mind I'd love to try it on~" she smiled, ears perking up. At Roimort approached she felt the slight tap from Paris, just reminding her that he was there. And it did make her feel a bit better. Maybe Roimort wasn't mean and scary anymore? It'd been a very long time since she'd last spoke to him. .

Since the jaguar spoke first, her eyes nervously flicked from the ground, then to him. "Well, Aunt Sara had her cubs." she said in a quiet voice. She loved her aunt dearly, and was very happy to see the three little bundles join their empire. And in regards to Paris's question- "Well it's really wet and swampy in a lot of parts. I like to help Sara with her healer duties, and-" she paused. Maybe she shouldn't mention her dancing and looking for faeries. No. . she hadn't told anyone about that. "- um hide n' seek is fun in the forest."

Paris smiled at Roimort and Dahlia as they spoke. Paris took off his scarf as Clarity spoke, and as he put it around Clarity he decided it was his time to share. "Air Empire has been quite boring. Theres a few new felines that seem like they're ready to start causing trouble, though." He chuckled. He hadnt interacted with them, but their attention to the blacksmith den and all its treasures didnt go unnoticed. Paris shifted slightly closer to Clarity as he tied the scarf to its little clip for her. "I dont think I'd enjoy Shadow Empire too much. I'm not a huge fan of getting my paws muddy." He joked, though he wasnt ever particularly opposed to mud fights with Suzuki or any of the other apprentices."
