This is a scene from Chapter 6 - Doom , from T.U.F.F Mission X.

Here we have a group shot of Snaptrap, Ollie, Francisco, and Larry! Snaptrap stands proudly in the center, knowing that he's the boss; Ollie is drinking some tea that he seems to magically create when he wants it; Francisco is seriously ready to kick butt and eat everything; and Larry is pointing his finger in the air for some reason. XD They have confronted Dudley and Kitty, revealing that they are the ones who hired Skunk to assassinate them on the plane to Riptide Island. Since he failed his job, Snaptrap decided that he and his team should take care of the T.U.F.F. agents themselves.

I had a lot of fun redesigning these characters! When I redesigned Snaptrap, I wanted to give him a "cooler" look by giving him a more imposing appearance. He lost a bit of his ugly and immature look, now looking more evil and serious. I always liked how some characters in the Mega Man games and comics wear scarfs, so I thought that one would look neat on him. His mean expression, pose, and overall role in this story is reminiscent of Vegeta from DBZ; except that Snaptrap is nowhere near as smart as him! Perhaps that scar on his head implies that he once had his brain removed. lol

Ollie was tricky to draw, since it was hard making his cartoony face look more humanoid, and I overall wasn't sure what I could do to change his clothes. I suppose he has a cleaner look to him now, no longer looking like a homeless gent on the street. I felt that the split mustache and mullet were fitting, and I kept his more friendly look, which creates a good contrast to the rest of D.O.O.M.. Despite the little changes that were made, I like how he come out, overall.

Francisco was actually the very second character that I redesigned (the first being Kitty, cuz' she's awesome), and one of my personal favorites. He always came across as an intimidating looking character in the show, what with that snarly grin of his and messed up looking eyes, so I wanted to amplify that intimidation factor. He is now at least five times larger, as if he went on Gamma rays, and he's much more muscular too. I like how he still has that simple looking shirt; only now he completely ripped through it! Much of his design was based on Killer Croc from Batman. Out of all of my redesigns, I'd say that Francisco changed the most.

As for Larry? Well, you're probably thinking "hey, he doesn't look any different!". Well, in a lot of ways, your right. From what you see of him here, he looks almost identical to his cartoon counterpart. Due to how short he is compared to everyone else, you can't see his full body. He now has little pink ears on the sides of his head, some white chin hair, and he's also wearing black pants. Overall, though, he really doesn't look that different. I always liked his small, goofy looking appearance in the show, so I wanted to keep a bit of that for my story. That, and I couldn't really think of a different look for him. lol His original design was so simple, that I didn't want to change his look too much.
