Much needed remake; Apophis is still very elongated; it's had has been replaced with a completely new design. Head lacks eyes (which would only be damaged by staring into the sun, especially if the snake was otherwise adapted to the darkness of the underworld Instead it has eight heat pits upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… that would both allow it to hunting the darkness as well as locate its solar adversary.Sadly I can't take full credit for this bat-winged cobra's hood. Mighty fine representation of the serpent of chaos! I loved how odd and flowy your last drawing was, but this one looks more menacing, and the bat wing hood is a great touch regardless of where it came from! Definitely looks like a terrible thing to have to battle night after night.

Didn't read them but sounds quite cool. Age of Mythology game had one unit that explored similar concept but looked quite different (regular cobra's hood with small wings attached)
