The mythical creaure, Argus Panoptes was a giant with countless eyes spread all over his body. For some reason, the edition of Greek mythology I had as kid claimed he was a dragon lol. IΒ never was much willing to change how I imagined him
Β The creature is covered with both actual eyes and eye-like markings to hide the actual eyeballs from harm.
