Description A creature from Aztec mythology, said to be mix of crocodile, fish and toad. and spinosaurus

It also was said to have additional teeth/jaws on every joint in it's body.

The creature plays similar role to Tiamat; is slain by gods at the beginning and it's body helps creating Earth. So, another outrageous example of anti-dragon genocide. I bet will be mad again.

Tiamat's a great critter.

Can you draw her, as well her spawn! Perhaps Sirrush?

Sirrush has already been done in form of that dream dragon. In a way. ANd Tiamat.. Yes She will surely come. I intend to draw all primordial/chaos Dragons.

Yeah. BTW I am just reading Persian mythology, in quite an interesting edition, that corelates it with archeology. It's an old book so I dont know if the theories have been furher backed up, or abandoned sicne then. Anyway it speaks in general about entire indo-european myth background.. The concept of fire breathing dragon was corelated with metallurgy development. In simplification, "slaying the dragon" and similar concept would be echo of some initiation ritual of the blacsmith community. Maybe that would explain why is it so widespread. Still this does not cover water related dragons ;_;

I used to be very interested in mythology, but I took an arrow to the knee.... no, wait, that was another story. Oops. Anyway, I lost that interest over the years.... As for the dragons, I have my own couple of theories of why they are always being slain, and I really don't like either of them. Just fuck people.
