That's rather insulting to say. As if having a dream of such a beautiful, meaningful creature is a bad or even abnormal thing. He even said this creature was melancholic, so this isn't even his most wild or demonical dream, not that wild or demonical dreams are any bad either. Those are wonderful and energetic things to experience.
An imagination as rich as Mike's is what more human beings should strive for.
