Description Again in the fields.  Autumn.

I am especially proud of the second one in the set, as I've been trying to photograph groups of partridges in flight for whole summer. They are quite sneaky birds and can be difficult to locate without the help of a hunting dog. Most of the photos I took of them were completely useless, however, this one, bathed in the rays of the low sun is exactly what I have hoped for.

As for the pheasant, I have taken many pictures of those beautiful birds as they often look for food in the proximity of my house. This one, thanks to the beautiful lightning is my favorite of them all.

The title comes from a song from a blackened heavy metal band Wizzard which sadly I can't find online . xP

Myślę że bardziej będzie pasować do zdjęć które zrobie w grudniu i styczniu, jeśli tylko nie strolluje mnie efekt cieplarniany i nie będzie kolejnej pseudo zimy bez śniegu.

That's a really beautiful pheasant.

I live abroad, but my mom's house is on a Texas ranch. One time, I went out the back door and there were about 20 wild turkeys (yes, like the whiskey) just hanging and pecking around. They are huge by bird standards. They are about 2 to 3 feet tall. Their chicken-like feet have a span bigger than donuts. They travel in packs like wolves and have a largest dominant male leader. When the king turkey noticed me, it approached me, did some examination head movements and then just too off fast. All the turkeys followed him and in about 15 seconds they were gone. But, they didn't fly away. These turkeys can fly if necessary, but they are clumsy. They just ran. They ran at turbo speeds all together and then out of site. My feelings about this event were interesting + hilarious. A pretty interesting bird. They are like big versions of a road-runner. So fast.

Sounds like an awesome experience we don't have those here. But pheasants and partridges tend to fly away a bit and then move by foot in tall grass, which makes it difficult to take a good picture.

Oh, this is awesome))) I can't take a good pic of them...  I was hiking presently and...omg, I've never seen so many pheasants, partridges and grouse in my life. And still, not a single proper photo...

Great job!

It took me many attempts and lots of luck. I recommend practicing photos with some more common birds that you can see every day. It's fun challenge!

True :-D Also, some luck is needed. They are all so fast. Well, one day! Thanks

Can you hunt Pheasant in Poland? Not saying you should or not (caveat!).

Oh, yes :-D Like... it took me the whole Saturday to make my flat clean and pristine. As fast as I finished, my cat dropped the biggest pot with a plant that he could possibly find... Black wet soil was everywhere on a bright carpet.  Ahahaha.  I diffidently could use some luck yesterday. ahahaha. On a positive side... My plant was fine and I didn't need to go to a gym, the whole day was like one long exercise, hehehe.

I think most important here is survival of the plant though!

You think so right :-D I brought this fruit form an opposite side of the globe, planted seeds, waited 4 month for them to sprout, fed, protected from multiple disasters, replanted a few times in bigger pots, made a few different frames for climbing... and now, after 3 years of pain and care my cat almost destroyed it all at once. Hehehe. It's called Passiflora Laurifolia, nothing much special, but it's a memory of place I've been too. So yeap, this plant is my green pet
