Description
The third member of the Spectrum Trio. Unlike Gortanklios and Leafiathan, Skygryph is not from ancient times, nor is it a dragon. It's a griffin that came down to earth from up in the clouds, in response to the events unfolding. Skygryph is a hero who wants to stop Team Brutal and Team Serene from succeeding. It believes in what most pokemon trainers believe in, that pokemon should be kind and obedient to humans, and are free to battle other pokemon in friendly competition. Unlike most legendaries, which are encountered late game, Skygryph follows you throughout your adventure, helping you along the way, including in double battles. It can speak to you telepathically, and tells you not to add it to the pokedex until the time is right. Once the evil team is defeated (depending on which game version you have), Skygryph will wait for you to catch it. But even though it's your friend, it still wants to battle you to prove yourself worthy.
