i don't know, i'm reading the manga but my mom doesn't allow to buy new one(i don't read online,buy them at the comic shop) and i'm yet at volume 11 and i didn't watched brotherhood yet.

Well, if your reading the manga, brotherhood is more true to the manga. Because in the original series, Ed get's killed by Envy.
