This is the amazing, wonderful `Saimain 's character, Faeren. If any of you haven't ever seen her stuff, you should definitely go and look at it. It's the most fantastic stuff I've ever seen. Also go to her website, meadowhaven.net and look at all the awesomeness there! I visit there often for inspiration. If you can spare a penny, make sure you buy one of her prints I got her artbook, and I'm so happy with it. This is a gift for her for the book.

ANYWAY, this began as a simple drawing in my sketchbook, and I decided to turn it into a much better one. Overall, it took me four or five hours. Man, all those leaves.. That little animal at the bottom is the Mistress of Illusion, Faeren's would-be captor. It's a fascinating story.. Well, enjoy!
