now this is the side of photography I just LOVE. You were there at the right time at the right place, its always about capturing something from the world you wouldn't normally notice until a photographer captures it for you and makes you think about the world. just being able to find a shot like this is a verry big accomplishment, and this is also what makes you a very good photographer. great work!

I really like the composition on this piece for it brings together the natural world and the man made one. One object is organic in nature spun from the spider. The other is hard and barbed metal spun/made from the hands of man. The web appears beautiful and lovely with the adorment of waterdrops on resting on it's surface. None of that natural beauty can be seen on the barbed wire. Interestingly enough both hold an element of danger and harm. The web is deadly to insect caught in it's folds and the barbed wire could be harmful and damaging to creatures or people whom get caught in it's grip. But in this picture they differ in one respect. One appears beautiful with "pearls" capturing the light while the other is dark and ugly with it's twisting material make-up that sprouts thorns.

wow, this is gorgeous. I love the contrast between the really fragile and delicate dew on the web and the harsh and not so delicate barbed wire. Great comparison. I like this a lot!

It reminds me a lot of a necklace I got a girlriend one time, well the pattern at least...
The fact that it's such an intricate weave of little water droplets suspended in barb wire is excelent, and the way color is desaturated gives it the life it has.
