idea I had when thought about painting a lion! Sort of "what if there were big cats in northern areas?" or "what if norwegian forest cats evolved into bigger cats?"Thought I'd put this as the original size, since I think my brush strokes on this are maybe fun to look at closer?

Actually a bit of the both, but mostly the hind legs. Both the shape and the pose are more like canine. The legs in cats are "flatter" and they don't normally have such an outward movement, but keep their legs are rather narrowly together, so to speak, with paws oriented parallel to the body.

Ah, that makes sense. That's cool to know! I knew about how the legs kind of.. are more to the ground than with canines, but hadn't thought about the "keeping legs narrowly" think at all!

Uhm, I honestly just thought this up. I have a Norwegian Forest Cat as a pet, so... It looks exactly like this, expect for the lion part.

I legit forgot to think about those when I drew this ahahahah... But I guess my idea was more about Scandinavian northern areas (where I live) and here are only lynxes, which are a medium sized cat.
