Description
My interpretation of mermaids.
Also heard somewhere that a culture believes that mermaids(or something similar) are seen as evil creatures.
If you interact with a mermaid, you will bring misfortune towards yourself and those around you.
Because of this, mermaids are killed if seen.
The man in this picture did not believe in the superstition and saved the mermaid from being killed.
The mermaid never forgot, and she wanted to thank him but did not have any ways of communications.
Because of this, she wandered in areas where ships were, in hopes to find him.
In the end, she finds that he has died due to his ship being sunken.
