My entry for Character Design Challenge, July 2016

"Sakuya was the last member of a fallen samurai family. Been sold to work as a geiko at the age of 12 after the slaughter of her clan, Sakuya secretly developed her own swordmanship based on what she's learnt from her family and her own dances while working as a geisha. Her unique kenjutsu; which using a wagasa - a Japanese umbrella - as a defensive weapon and a distraction along with a short sword soon helped her break free from the life of a geisha and become one of the most lethal assassin in Japan at the time".
