I love this. I adore Peter S. Beagle and didn't even know this book existed! I'm going to have to go to Barnes and Noble and get it. And when I read of the characters...I'll see these faces.

Awesome! I love the Fox and the pidgeons in the background. I've spent far too long looking for some art for this book, 'cause it's my favorite of his books. (Barely beating the Last Unicorn.) You captured the feel of the book so thoroughly, with the colors, and your art itself. I really like it.

This is a beautiful image, as are the rest of your deviations! I think the color palette works very well, and helps to tie all the different aspects of the image together. I really love the little nautilus shells in the woodwork! Great touch!

~y'know what? the girl in the top right corner looks a LOT like my best friend (only Lexi's hispanic). it's almost scary how much they look alike! this is really beautiful!
the only criticism is that the girl at the bottom seems washed out because she's so pale. it makes her seem less realistic than the other two. (it's still better than anything I can make tho)~
