Thank you very much, it was a pain sitting still for three days while it was fitted to my arm. But next year I plan on having an actual metal arm. We'll see how that goes. xD

Myself and my friend who helped me make it sat down for three days straight and did nothing else but watch old cartoons on TV and put this arm together. xD It was hard sitting still for so long.

Time, sweat, bit of blood and lots of chips.

I found a basic shaping guide on the internet and used references from the internet and official hand book. From there my friend and I cut out and sized all the pieces to my arm and I had to sit for hours on end while she sewed it. I'm right handed and couldn't do anything for that bit. x'D

omg...i must try to do that. You mind sending me a like for the basic shaping guide? Because I wanted to do an Ed cosplay, but I'm very meticlous and detail orientated. I refuse to do Ed unless I had automail, and tinfoil doesn't do.

Well I don't remember where it was exactly, but if you go to google and type in Edward Elric arm tutorial you should be able to find it. If not keep trying different tag words. It's fairly easy to find though.
Next year I'm working on having an actual metal arm. One of my dad's friends works in metal and I already have the templates so I should be all set.
