It's Starfy/Stafy!!I always loved the Starfy series ever since it first came out on GBA, and I was always bummed that they never localized it to the USA. Then, I noticed advertising for "The Legendary Starfy" which really got me excited that they are finally bringing the series over.
I have a younger 8-year-old sister who has a DS, but not many games, so she plays a lot of mine. I noticed she loved my platformers a lot, such a Kirby, and I figured since she kind of knows Starfy from Smash Bros Brawl, that this game would be a perfect Christmas gift for her. So that's what I got for her! She already loves it, so I'm glad she can enjoy a series I like that was normally only in Japan.
Watching her play I noticed some localization changes. The most obvious is Stafy being called Starfy (despite the name "Stafy" appearing in M&L and Brawl). Then Stapi being Starly and Kyorosuke being Moe. Of course I don't blame the Kyorosuke change, haha.

I played the DS Stafy game a small bit, but I didn't get far in it. I never played the GBA games either, so I'm a bit new to the Stafy series still.

The Starfy series is pretty notable for the amount of hidden collectables in the games giving quite a bit of replay value. The only Starfy game I haven't played is 4.
