This is my best friend, Pige.I rescued her from an unscrupulous fate when she was a baby, and ever since then she's bonded with me. Pigeons are monagomous - meaning they mate for life...she wont go to anyone by me.
Pige is 14 this year

You will have to forgive me I am not understanding this. If you did what you had to, to save this precious bird I dont see how it was wrong or breaking the law. If you stole her because she needed saving I dont see anything wrong with it.I would have done the same thing.

In truth she took care of me. Was there for me when i was upset, and gave me a friend that even when i pushed her away, she wud never take that to heart. I love her more than anything else in the world.

Bless you for rescuing this beautiful pigeon. I can certainly understand why she only knows your face you are the one that helped her in a time of real need and she has gained your full trust because of it.She looks quite happy and content here and It's amazing that she has already lived to the age of 14.I hope that you have many more years of joy with her.Your a very special lady

I've learnt a lot from her; which is strange to say. but she's taught me the value of friendship and loyalty; can always make me smile.
I "procured" her from a neighbours house that was breeding pigeons to eat. My friends and i used to be like animal vigilantes and sneak into his yard and let all the roosters go (cos he used to keep them in tiny cages). And then one day we found this tiny featherless, ugly-looking thing and took it home.
I used to feed her babyfood with a syringe

i used to ahev a problem riding my boke to school everyway. cos she'd follow me to school...not an issue until she'd use the middle of the road as an airstrip!!! haha, and land right infront of my tire!
