I hate PeTA- alot. This is supposed to be somewhat satirical about PeTA and how they go about doing things and how uncool and lame PeTA is. Harassing people over their lifestyles, harassing fashion designers, trying brainwash little kids, and other things- very uncool, PeTAI put Japanese rocker Gackt in the photo is because he is very cool and PeTA will never be on his level no matter how hard they try
BTW, Gackt loves animals but not as obsessive as PeTA (Thank god!)
If you know of any other uncool and lame things done by PeTA, post it! I'll add it to my comments!

Peta thinks that domesticated animals are a abomination because they were bred by humans, thus the humane and loving thing to do is to put them down.
PeTA doesn't own one (1) Animal shelter
But they do own a $9,370 walk in freezer to hold all the dead animals.
HSUS is basically PeTA with a cleaner face. The HSUS does not sponsor any spay or neuter clinic anywhere in the country. They do donate a very small percent of the annual budget to a few local humane societies, around $2 million annually, which just happens to be less than the amount that they spend in travel each year. Their major money is sent on fund raising and legislative activity. In 2005 they spent $28 million for public mailings, $6 million in vegan education, $10 million in legislative campaigns and litigation. Their income for that year was close to $125 million.

Not too long ago a polar bear cub in a zoo was left without a mom. Peta decided it was more humane to euthanize the cub than to allow it to be raised by humans.

Saying "You're lame" is like saying "You walk with a limp."
Generally, when you insult something, you want to paint it with characteristics that are bad. Being "lame" certainly sucks, but I don't think it's necessarily bad.
What has PETA done wrong? Yeah, I don't really like their method of advertising, but they're trying to HELP something.
And please, don't mix PETA up with ALF. ALF is the one breaking into zoos and releasing animals.

Ingrid herself ahs Said ALF is a great organization. Not only that, she has said violence can be used to get a point across. They injure people and bomb medical research centers.
They have donated almost $100,000 to Ray Corrando, a known arsenist who did time for admitting to blowing up buildings in the name of peace.
PETA has stated they want to abolish ALL fields involving animals. No more fiching industry, no more medical research to cure and heal people. No more pets, farms, ANYTHING, aquariums, Zoo's, wildlife parks, safari's. Even animal shelters. All of them, gone. They want entire families livlihoods destroyed and industries brought down, just cause of their so called morals.
And they want the entire animal population to ahve HUMAN rights, when animals don't even live or understand OUR way of living
They also want the entire human race to never eat animals AGAIN. If PETA had it their way, no one would survive. Plain and simple
They have stated and admitted that they target kids for their anti-meat campaigns, because they know its easier to influence the young.
They are an extremist violent insane group.

I'm an animal rights activist, but I find PETA offensive. I don't like people wearing animal furs because of the torture the animals go through and I don't eat meat, but PETA's approach is too insane. Not to mention they want to abolish owning animals as pets, meaning more animals being put to sleep and roaming the streets and the fact that they have used violence against people to get their point across.

I agree with you on PeTA. Even more insane is that they've killed 19,200+ animals from 1998 to 2007- actually make that sad because most of the animals were perfect for adoption and sick because they trashed the dead animals in a dumpster. With a history like that, they shouldn't be calling themselves "ethical"

Okay, having people lock their kids in cages to "prove a point" as well as attack other people by spraying them in red paint or going so far as to toss blood on them? I call that not only psychological torture but outright obsession. Animal rights, yes. You will never find me on a side where an animal is being deliberately tortured or made miserable without a damn good result coming of it. However, using children and what amounts to assault as tactics? No thanks.
