Aerith's eyes were filled with water and she hid her face in her hands, unable to watch any more videos. She pushed her chair out and hugged Genesis around the throat, burying her face on her arms. He didn't feel he could watch any more videos either. He hugged Aerith tightly, feeling tears welling in his own eyes, gently rubbing her back.

She cried on his shoulder, feeling an overwhelming hate for Hojo as well as the emotion of longing for her Mother, Iflana. She had never felt so much sadness and so much hate at once. This was no ordinary child hate, this was the real emotion of loathing and disgust. She /hated/ this man.
He held her tightly, feeling her emotion as if it were his own.

He /also/ had his own hate for Hojo and what he'd done to her mother. Hojo wasn't a man. To Genesis, he was a monster.
