WELL GUESS WHAT I PICKED UP TODAY

NI NO KUNI: WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH
In short - a highly anticipated RPG for PS3, a collaboration between the geniuses at Level-5 and the beautiful art of Studio Ghibli married to Joe Hisaishi awesome orchestral music. Yup.

Got through about 3 hours of it today - and just barely scratching the surface! All the backgrounds are beautifully rendered and it doesn't even feel like a game. Every turn I am gawking at how much it just looks like someone took a Ghibli film and magically transformed it into a game. It is that beautiful.

It just doesn't feel like a game - that's not even the best part.

IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL

And a choice of either Japanese or English audio (I chose Japanese despite having to strain a little to read the subs but it's so worth it ugguuu though English audio wasn't too bad either)

Anyway up there is Oliver and Drippy (Shizuku in Japanese). Just a quick sketch before I go to bed haha I plan to do a better fanart in the future when I'm further into it.
Drippy is hilarious. And since I know Japanese, I do understand a little of what they're saying? It's funny how the English version has to place so many puns and different speech patterns/mannerisms compared to the Japanese version...
