I am very impressed with all the work you do! I was wondering if you could tell me the technique you use to draw. Do you fist do a rough sketch like the one on top, a new layer as the lineart, and then add color?

I didn't even notice the little gash on her finger there until I looked closer--aah the symbolism of wanting so hard to help someone who is hurting only to be harmed in return.
poor Celeste--she tries with all her might to carry the weight of the world's troubles on her shoulders, but sometimes it is better to be a phoenix in the end and know when is the right moment to just 'let go'.
I love how you've been putting her hair back a bit sometimes. Is that intentional? It seemed like, when she was a spirit, she'd let it fly loose and free, but perhaps, now that she is mortal, she ties it back? Looks really cute!
